Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has spoken about facing Manchester United tomorrow, Saturday, in the FA Cup final embraced by Wembley Stadium.
Guardiola told a press conference on Friday: "This is the final of the FA Cup, and it is a pleasure to be here, this is a final and nothing else."
He added: "It would be nice to think about what we need to do to win, nothing has changed in our analysis of our opponent's strengths and weaknesses, this is a football game, and we don't control what happens outside."
He added: “The final is especially in itself, but in the last 4, 5 or 6 months United have become a different team than at the start of the season, they have clearly evolved, and the quality of the players is always there. "
He commented on the Europa League final crisis: "I feel sorry for the pictures I saw of Anthony Taylor (final umpire), I hope it never happens again, I have nothing else to say."
Taylor had been subjected to an assault attempt by the Roma fans, following the team's loss to Sevilla in the final shootout game.
"I don't know him personally, and when he was in Madrid I had information about his professionalism, and I was convinced he wouldn't come here for a holiday in the last years of his career."
Kevin De Bruyne and Jack Grealish were injured: "Trained well in the last two classes."
And whether that was Bernardo Silva's last game: "There's a Champions League final, I hope it's not, but I don't know."
"I don't know, but if he does, we have to read that as best as possible in the first 5 or 10 minutes."
He continued: "The situation is not easy in Premiership Season 1, I know for myself, and what he has given confirms that he is a good manager, I don't say we are friends, since there is no contact between us, but Manchester United has had an exceptional coach for many years to come.
Given the possibility of substitute guard Ortega's participation: "Yes, he will participate, the same in the cups for me when I was in Barcelona and Munich."
